Sypolt Insurance Services, Inc. was organized in 2000 as an independent insurance agency specializing in Horse and Equine related insurance. We offer all forms of equine business insurance, as well as coverage for related farming and vineyards operations.
In addition to providing Mortality and Liability insurance for Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Hunter-Jumpers, Quarter Horses, Pintos, Appaloosas, Saddlebreds, Miniature horses and all other major breeds, Sypolt Insurance Services, Inc. insures all aspects of: Horse Training, Riding Instruction, Horse Boarding, Horse Racing, Horse Showing, Competitive Endurance Riding and Personal Breeding stock. The company also provides insurance for Horse Trainers, Riding Instructors, Clubs, Associations, Dwellings, Farm Structures, Horse Farm Equipment and Tack, Personal and Commercial Autos, Farm Vehicles, Personal and Commercial Liability, Farm Packages, Commercial Packages and Worker's Compensation insurance and much more.
Mary Sypolt has a lifetime of experience with horses and the equine industry and has continued to actively participate in the industry on many levels, from pleasure riding to horse show competition. She has owned several Arabian horse farms in California, Arizona and Kentucky.
She owned and managed American Farm which held over 300 horses that were bred, trained and sold worldwide.
She held a judge's license for over 10 years and continues to actively
participate in the equine industry. She currently sits on the board of the Arabian Breeders Association.
In 1985, Mary went to work for Markel Ins. Corp and due to her extensive equine experience they trained her in all forms of equine insurance. Eventually, she moved to AON in 1989 and began selling insurance all over the United States.
In 2000, when AON decided to sell their Equine business, Mary and her husband Mike Sypolt purchased the book of business and opened Sypolt Insurance Services Inc.
